An astronaut.

Be passionate, persistent and proactive. Believe. Create simple ideas. Understand ROI.

What attracted you to your current job?
The opportunity to help shape the birth of a brand that continues to be very successful.

What was your first job?
Working on the production line of a pork-pie factory as a student in my summer holidays.

If you were a brand, what would you be?
Apple.

What is your favourite campaign or slogan?
‘Think different.'

What has been your best freebie?
A card that played Build Me Up Buttercup, but with the lyrics ‘We all love Pick Me Up', when it was opened.

If you weren't you, who would you be?
An elite sportsman, such as Roger Federer.

Do you have any hobbies?
Recreating epic battles on the tennis court.

If you could get tickets to any event, what would it be?
My son Henry's Wimbledon final or any epic sporting confrontation.

What was your finest hour?
Riding The Manta at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida, with my glasses tucked into my under­pants so I didn't lose them. Not so much an hour as about 50 seconds, though.
