Describe yourself in three words.
Ambitious, creative and focused.
What would you be if you weren't a brand manager?
I like to think I would make a good teacher. It would have to be teaching marketing though.
What advice would you give someone starting their marketing career?
Get as much experience as possible. Raise your profile, tweet as much as possible, blog and build a large online contact network.
What was your finest hour?
I managed the opening of Booths MediaCityUK (new home to the BBC). I even managed to secure the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to perform at our preview evening.
What's your greatest ambition?
To be a marketing director by the age of 30. That's two years away.
If you were a brand, what would you be and why?
Apple. Not the most interesting answer, but it stays ahead of the game.
What is your favourite ever marketing campaign?
Probably Mini's 'Mini adventure'.
What is your all-time favourite slogan?
BMW's 'The ultimate driving machine'.
If you weren't you, who would you be?
Probably a member of the Royal Family. It's the one job that has more value than any brand or person.
What makes you angry?
People who don't take their jobs seriously. We are so lucky to work in marketing.
If you could get tickets to any event, what would it be?
I'd love to get tickets to a one-to-one reading with Psychic Sally, as it has always fascinated me. On a work level it would be Apple's annual developers conference.
What have been your best and worst freebies?
The worst was the 'world's biggest pencil' (couldn't find a big enough sharpener). The best was tickets to Take That.
What headline would you most like to read in Marketing?
'Google and Apple in merger'. Imagine the possibilities.
