Described as the 'FA Cup of Gin' the competition at Graphic Bar in Golden Square will see a designated bartender from each brand create a cocktail representative of their distillery.

Ginthusiasts will be able to taste four cocktails on the night, one from each competitor, and vote for their favourite.

The previous round saw Haymans Gin concoct a tea party mix with strawberry jam and lavender infused Old Tom Gin, served with its own scone. The winning drink eventually went to French distillers Audemus’ Pink Pepper Gin, Avocado and Basil creation, served in teacups and topped with an edible flower.

A total of 16 international brands entered the competition, from Canadian Ungava to the East London Liquor Company.

The grand finale will take place in November, with the winners taking home a specially made Copper Still Trophy, and the victorious cocktail being added to Graphic’s 2017 menu.
