The open-air Level 72 Skydeck at The View from The Shard will feature theatrical ice crystals, frost and snow drifts, and a range of edible creations by Bompas & Parr will be available for purchase within the space.
Duncan Welsh, event sales manager at The View from The Shard told Event: "[The experience] will begin at level one – the Joiner Street entrance to The View from The Shard within London Bridge station, where frozen gates will hint at what’s to come on the viewing gallery levels.
"The guests’ journey through the attraction will build anticipation of the theatrics on the Skydeck through immersive decorations and creative use of our audio-visual displays."
The food offering remains under wraps, with Welsh noting it is likely to be unveiled on 19 November. "You can expect traditional winter flavours with exciting twists, adding to the surprise and enchantment of the whole experience," he explained.
The winter wonderland-themed space will be available for private hire throughout the period, however Welsh said there is already limited availability.
Members of the public can visit the winter experience with standard entry to The View from The Shard.
Additional information will be posted to Twitter in the lead up to the unveiling – those interested can search for the #ShardSnow hashtag.
