Bombay Sapphire is working with designer Giles Miller who is following the sustainable theme of the event by creating martini-style glasses made from card.
Miller has also designed a ‘log cabin-esque’ cardboard encased bar from which cocktail Bombay Sapphire Summer Gin Punch will be served. The cocktail is made with Bombay Sapphire, claret, rhubarb, cloudy apple juice and lemon ice tea.
V&A Summer Camp will feature six tents located throughout the venue showcasing displays from designers including Markus Bergstrom and Fabien Capello as well as interactive workshops.
The main feature of the event is the Communal Campfire tent situated in The John Madejski Garden at the centre of the courtyard. Visitors can enjoy poetry and folk music while sitting on benches designed by Peter Marigold.
Bombay Sapphire and the V&A’s partnership is part of the brand’s commitment to cultural experience following its Bombay Sapphire Dusk Bar at Somerset House last summer.
You can also sample the Bombay Sapphire Summer Gin Punch at The Portobello Star, Notting Hill, and Jakes Bar and Grill in Leeds.
