BMW, Virgin Media and British Airways to attend Guide Live

Senior representatives from brands including Virgin Media, News International and BMW will be attending the Guide Live 2013, on Thursday 6 June at Vue Westfield London.

Delegates from British Airways, AXA, Standard Life, EDF Energy, Barclays and Mencap have also signed up to attend the event, which is shaping up to be our best Guide Live yet.

As well as networking opportunities and scheduled one-to-one meetings, the day will include panel discussions and workshops with leading industry figures.

Tracy Haliwell, director of business and major events at London & Partners, and Archie Archer, managing director of entertainment agency Contraband, are among the panel speaking on Women in Events.

They will be joined by Nis Arend, head of operations at Barclays, and Nicky Havelaar, managing director of Crown, who will discuss how businesses can make it easier for women to forge careers right to the top, and will give advice on helping women find their voice in the industry.

The event will also feature an interactive workshop on event technology. It will be hosted by tech experts Ken Clayton, director of RefTech, and Tom McInerney, director at Etherlive.
