Building on the project, lead by property development company Lend Lease, will begin in the spring and will add a major 5,200sqm events and exhibition space to the UK's venue canon.
The space will be aimed at UK retail and leisure events.
Separately, Clarion Events has inked a deal to become Bluewater's exclusive strategic events partner which will see the agency run events at the shopping venue.
The development has been designed by architects Denton, Corker Marshall, and will be centred around a 3,000sqm plaza, and will include 4,000sqm of catering/restaurants space.
