Blue Barracuda retains Zoopla search work

LONDON - Digital agency Blue Barracuda has retained the search business for property portal Zoopla.co.uk following a three-way pitch.

Zoopla called the review after acquiring Propertyfinder.com in August. It has also recently bought Hotproperty.co.uk and ThinkProperty.com, from Guardian Media Group.

Blue Barracuda, which has held the paid search Zoopla account since March 2008, will now work across the integrated portfolio and look to increase traffic and leads to the increased group's estate agent clients.

Jamie Jaggard, head of consumer marketing at Zoopla.co.uk, said Blue Barracuda had exceeded its targets over the past 18 months.

Jaggard added: "Despite this their pitch ideas were fresh and innovative, integrating with on-site search activity, the needs of our sales team and Google's full offering to advertisers.
