Telegraph TV, currently available through Telegraph.co.uk, shows breaking news, business analysis, arts footage and original weekly shows.

Telegraph TV footage will now be accessible at www.blinkx.com, with advertising revenue, generated using Blinkx’s AdHoc platform, shared between the two parties.

Mike Moore, general manager digital at TMG, said the company was pleased to be working with Blinkx, as it wanted to make sure its content reached as many people as possible.

Suranga Chandratillake, founder and chief executive of Blinkx, said news searches were popular on the Blinkx site and the partnership with TMG was part of a strategy to increase coverage of current affairs.

Telegraph.co.uk recorded 22 million unique users in August 2008, according to ABCe figures.

Blinkx claims to have more than 350 partners and 26 million hours of indexed video and audio content. It uses speech recognition technology which, it says, delivers more accurate results than metadata-based keyword searches.
