Blinkx adds Real Estate TV to line-up

LONDON - Video search engine Blinkx has added property to its searchable content through a deal with the UK channel Real Estate TV.

Users will be able to search for content on the 24-hour channel via the Blinkx homepage. As part of the deal, they will be delivered contextual ads by Blinkx's AdHoc ad platform.

Blinkx has been working to add a range of specialist interest channels to its searchable index, having signed deals with Cycling TV and Wedding TV last year.

The search engine claims to attract over 50 million unique users a month and hosts more than 18 million hours of broadcast content.

Real Estate TV broadcasts on Virgin Media and Sky, as well as through an online TV service.
