Beck's has unveiled a 200-foot high digital flame on the Statue of Liberty to mark Independence Day as part of a new campaign for the brand by Mother.
The Green Box project, the biggest cultural commissioning programme of its kind, seeks to enable hundreds of new cultural commissions over three years. The digital flame sculpture, created by Belgian artist Arne Quinze, marks the project's launch.
Over 30 creatives from around the world, including Nick Knight, Sam Spiegel, Kate MccGwire, Shaniqwa Jarvis and Kenneth Cappello, will lead the project. Commissioned work will only ever appear in Augmented Reality - online and around thirty Green Boxes, that measure two metres cubed.
The digital art will appear in specific locations across London, Manchester, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Rome and Milan.
To view the art, users must download the Beck's Key app from the Apple App store.
