An episode of 'KateModern', which features Ralf Little and Tara Rushton, will be filmed live from BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge on Sunday March 9 during Nick Grimshaw's teen show and will include appearances from hip hop DJ Tim Westwood and UK indie act Scouting For Girls.
, which is produced by the makers of 'lonelygirl15', Miles Beckett and Greg Goodfried, began in April last year and received more than 35m views in its first season. Each four-minute episode is available to download from , and features live interactive elements.
It is understood the special episode, which is the second of the new series, will feature Tara Rushton's PR worker character, Charlie, managing a performance for Scouting For Girls on BBC Radio 1's 'Switch' programme, and will include cameos from Nick Grimshaw and Tim Westwood.
The first episode of the new series focused on the murder of the protagonist, played by Alexandra Weaver, and will invite viewers to help solve who killed her.
The Bebo promotion comes before the launch of 'Kate Modern''s sister show 'Sofia's Diary', which debuts on March 14, and combines real life events with fictional elements that can be influenced by the viewers.
