The agency will provide with intergrated marketing comprising internet marketing, direct marketing and print and TV advertising.
The eBay brand, which was founded in 1995, was originally marketed by word of mouth followed by targeted print ads in 2001.
In late 2002, eBay launched its first national TV advertising campaign, created by Goodby Silverstein, around the strapline "Do it eBay", followed by a second national campaign TV campaign called "The power of all of us".
EBay was estimated to have spent around $40m in the first half of last year with a budget of $85m in 2003, according to TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.

Pierre Omidyar, who founded eBay, claims there are 114m users in 29 markets and 25m items for sale at any one time.
