BBC Magazines has promoted Marcus Arthur to MD of all its titles in London. He is publishing director of the BBC Magazines' lifestyle and interests group, which includes the Radio Times and Good Food.

Meanwhile, Toni Round and Jaynie Bye, joint publishing directors of BBC Magazines' youth and children's group, will become joint managing directors of the newly named BBC Children's Magazines. The division will encompass pre-school, educational, pre-teen and teen titles.

Deputy MD Nick Brett will take on the extra role of group editorial director, leading the creative development side of the publisher's business in London, Bristol and India.

MD Peter Phippen said: "BBC Magazines is going through a period of creative and commercial growth. The changes are intended to ensure we are focused on the development of new products and remain creatively as strong as we can be."
