Barnardo's "Hyena" by FCB Inferno

Barnardo's highlights the negative impact of bullying as the charity's "Believe in me" campaign continues.

The 40-second spot follows a 12-year-old girl as she recounts her experiences with bullying in a new school. Whether on the playground, walking home or via social media, the girl’s anxiety manifests itself as a pack of CGI hyenas which intimidate her at each turn. The spot ends with the girl finding hope for the future after talking with a Barnardo’s specialist.

This marks the latest spot in Barnardo’s empowering "Believe in me" campaign, which first launched in 2016. The work will premiere tonight (Thursday) on Channel 4, with additional ads highlighting other emotions with different animals to follow next year. It was created by Jayshree Viswanathan and Chelsey Redshaw, and directed by Sam Brown through Rogue.
