The charity Mermaids UK tells the moving story of Ethan, a real 18-year-old who has finally found the confidence to express himself on his journey of being trans.

Mermaids provides support for trans and gender variant youth and their parents. The film is the result of Raw London winning a Pride AM competition that awarded £100,000 worth of media from Gay Times and £65,000 media spend from YouTube. It aims to tell an authentic trans story and raise awareness of the charity. The work was directed and written by James Page, in collaboration with Ethan.
