Baber Smith appoints twelve new staff

LONDON - Agency Baber Smith has appointed 12 new members of staff, including three senior roles, following new account wins.

The hires include Andy Lennard as senior art director, Shaena McGaw as account director and Janine Wareham as art director.

The agency recently won the business of the Child Trust Fund provider Family Investments, while two of its current clients, DSGi and American Express, grew their accounts.

Lennard previously worked as group head at Banks Hoggins O'Shea / FCB. His clients included Andrex and Waitrose. In his new role he will be responsible for overseeing the Amex & Dixons account.

McGaw joins from Bristol based Flourish where she was also an account director. During her time there she worked with BSkyB and Chelsea Building Society.

Wareham joins from Ogilvy where she held the role of art director.  The remaining nine appointments are across the creative and client services divisions.

Simon Smith, founder and creative director of Baber Smith, recently appointed Sam Jordan as managing director at the agency. Jordan was brought on board to grow the business and develop its standing in both the retail and financial services markets.

Jordan said: "Every one of the new starters brings something different to the team. The plans to grow the agency rely on the commitment and drive of all our staff and we all look forward to taking the agency to the next level."
