B&Q launches sponsorship of C4's Grand Designs

LONDON - B&Q's sponsorship of the new series of Grand Designs will launch tonight and run for the full 14-week series.

The sponsorship idents were created by agency Addiction and promotes the ‘One Planet Home' brand. They will appear on both Channel 4 and More 4.

‘One Planet Home' is a sub brand of B&Q that includes a wide range of environmentally-friendly products.

The sponsorship deal will see the retailer associate itself with the entire ‘4Homes' strand of programming on Channel 4 and More 4.

The idents show how to find easy ways to help the environment. The B&Q product range featured in the sponsorship were developed with the environmental charity BioRegional. The range includes energy saving lightbulbs, solar panels and thermostatic radiator valves.
