Avongate and Maestro join for health and beauty data

LONDON - Avongate and Maestro Interactive have joined forces to launch the first health and beauty data pool in the UK marketplace, which will allow list owners to keep control of their data.

Pooling Power, which launched on May 15, contains more than 1m records and 56% of those in the data pool are women and 44% men, all of whom are proven mail order buyers, making it a rich source of transactional data.

Their names have been recruited via various means including direct response advertising, direct mail and inserts.

In addition to offering a large volume of names of those who purchase health and beauty products, Pooling Power contains highly detailed records, a number of selections and profiled data to ensure highly targeted direct marketing campaigns.

Sebastien Hosti, commercial development director at Avongate, said: "Our new transactional-based health and beauty data pool offers important depth as well as volume of data to list buyers.

"We are looking at increasing the size of this pool over the coming months, and making it the key source of data for those marketers who want to target buyers of health and beauty products."
