The direct-selling brand is launching a TV campaign this month to promote its Pro-To-Go lipstick. The ad will be its first featuring actress Reese Witherspoon, signed as its global brand ambassador last August.

She will also star in a print and TV campaign supporting the launch of two fragrances, created in partnership with fashion brand Ungaro.

The activity is being overseen by Ashley Ferguson, who has been promoted to the role of head of category marketing.

Ferguson, who was previously senior manager of operational marketing at the company, will now be responsible for Avon's marketing communications across its cosmetics, skin-care, fragrance, fashion and wellbeing ranges.
