
Sales director Andre May will take up the new role of sales and marketing dire-ctor, overseeing an annual above-the-line adspend of £15m, while marketing manager Marta Gonzalez will become head of marketing.
May said the additional responsibilities would enable him ‘to further develop the business while playing a stronger role in brand awareness’.Gonzales will step up to the head of marketing role after almost five years at the glass-repair specialist. She joined in November 2007, following stints as a brand manager at Travelodge and easyJet.
Meliveo will take up the role of marketing director of the Saga Healthcare business on 21 May.
News of the shake-up comes as the brand places greater focus on its online offering as more of its customers turn to mobile and social channels.
Autoglass last month launched its latest TV campaign starring its own staff, which was intended to draw attention to its online booking service.
