Audi revamps dealer outlets for urban areas

LONDON - Luxury car marque Audi is to refresh the design of its UK dealerships to help expand its presence in urban areas.

Until recently, Audi's dealerships have followed a 'hangar' design, with a protruding front roof. However, as part of a global roll-out, they will switch to a 'terminal' design concept.

The dealership format has been designed to work based on a flexible multi-storey approach, with curved windows.

The sites will showcase a greater range of cars and branded products to improve the visibility of the Audi brand. The overhauled design was created in-house.

The first UK Audi 'terminal' is due to open next month at start-up Audi dealership Lomond Motors, which is based in Edinburgh.
