Associated raids IPC as it hires Corke for new-media commercial role

LONDON - Associated New Media, the digital publishing division of Associated Newspapers, has named IPC Media's Martin Corke as its commercial director.

Corke will report to chief operating officer Mark Milner and be responsible for revenues from display advertising, subscriptions and commercial partnerships across all its brands, such as the Daily Mail online, This is London, This is Money and This is Travel.

Corke joins Associated New Media from IPC Media, where he was group advertising director of the IPC Advertising insert division, Innovator, which is based in Manchester.

As well as sitting on the IPC board, he previously held the position of sales director at Innovator and was group ad manager at IPC Music and Sport prior to that.

Milner said: "Martin brings with him a wealth of commercial expertise in media. We are very much looking forward to taking advantage of these skills as we continue to develop ANM's brands for commercial success."
