Asics prioritises eCRM with agency appointment

Asics, the Japanese sports brand, has handed its European eCRM account to Underwired Amaze without a pitch.

The agency has also been tasked with the creation of a campaign to support the refreshed and ongoing delivery of its multi-language programme throughout Europe.

Activity covers Germany, Holland, Italy, France. Benelux, Austria and the UK.

Tim Williams, Underwired's planning director and previously head of customer insight at Three, said of the project: "By getting under the skin of what motivates different customer segments, we are starting the process of helping ASICS craft an effective eCRM programme.

"This is designed to deepen the engagement of its existing customers, as well as to increase awareness among the brand's target customer base across Europe."

The creative agency for Asics, due to what it described as "strategic, creative, and financial differences".
