The logo, which was designed by Merchantwise, will be circulated in the viral on January 26.
The viral features footage from England's 2005 Ashes home victory over Australia and an imitation of the famous sporting commentary "your boys took one hell of a beating", from Norway's 2-1 victory over England in a 1981 football tie.
The Norwegian commentator originally shouted out a roll call of famous English names, such as Sir Winston Churchill and Maggie Thatcher, but the names on the viral include Kylie Minogue, Rolf Harris, Nicole Kidman and Germaine Greer.
Kevin Peake, head of customer marketing at Npower, said: "The Aussies have always loved a bit of banter before a big series and they don't come much bigger than this -- we just hope they take the video in good spirit."
The video was produced by Rubber Republic and will be seeded into various sites and communities across the internet, including YouTube, Facebook and MySpace.
John Perera, ECB commercial director, said: "The ECB are putting in place a comprehensive marketing and commercial programme for the Npower Ashes Series.
"The launch of this exciting new logo is the start of this programme which will include for the first time a licensing programme that will stretch across the retail marketplace."
