Arsenal v Barcelona pulls in 6.2 million peaktime viewers for ITV1

LONDON - ITV1's Uefa Champions League Arsenal versus Barcelona match drew the biggest peaktime audience last night with 6.2 million viewers between 7.30pm and 10pm.

The audience peaked at 7.8 million viewers at 9.15pm-9.30pm as Arsenal mounted a comeback to draw 2-2.

BBC One’s drama 'New Tricks', which aired between 9pm and 10pm, was impacted by the match and had slightly lower ratings than usual, at 3.7 million and a 15.1% share for the channel.

Channel Four's latest episode of 'Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares USA' attracted 1.9 million viewers and a 7.9% share of the peaktime audience, including the ratings for Channel 4+1, while Five’s instalment of 'NCIS' was watched by 1.7 million viewers with a 7% share.

BBC Two's new series, 'Who Needs Fathers?', which follows three fathers trying to keep regular contact with their children, drew 1.5m viewers.
