Aricot Vert tells Ruislip High's students that school is cool

LONDON – It is back to school for design agency Aricot Vert, which has been appointed by the newly formed Ruislip High School to create an identity to show pupils that it is 'cool' to be successful.

The agency will produce a new prospectus, website and signage in preparation of the school's first day in September 2006.

The image and visual communications of the school are being designed to reflect the facilities and approach to learning in time for parents and children applying for a secondary school in October 2005.

John Goulborn, head teacher, said: "Before even a brick is laid, we need to develop a shared vision of the future for the school and ensure that the community, parents and future pupils know that this is their school and will meet their needs."

Completed visuals of the different communication elements will be available by the end of August 2005.

Lin Dickens, managing director of Aricot Vert, said: "This is a great opportunity to get this school off to the right start and the pupils who will attend it."
