Asia Tent International previously worked for the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur and the Athens Olympics.
Its Malaysian operations will be carried out by the newly formed Asia Tents Arena, and headed by Arena Group Middle East and Asia chief executive, Paul Berger.
"This is a strategic first step into growing the Arena Group’s client base throughout Asia," said Greg Lawless, Arena Group's chief executive.
"We now have the capacity to offer event organisers across all areas of the Middle and Far East easier access to independent specialist knowledge, and greatly improved logistics. This is a vital part of our vision to be a truly global event services supplier."
Arena Group’s current clients in Asia include Formula 1 in Singapore and Ballantine’s Golf Championships in South Korea.
Berger added: "Malaysia will serve as a springboard for the Arena Group to deliver more comprehensive event infrastructure services across Asia. We look forward to expanding our services into new markets."
The announcement follows the Group’s acquisition of US-based in April, which reported revenues of €45m (£38.3m) in 2012.
