Aperol Spritz accepts an orange for a beverage at London pop-up

Throughout the month of August, London venue The Gun is treating oranges as cash at its Aperol Spritz pop-up.

Customers who pay a visit to The Spritz Shack and present bar staff with an orange, which represents the brand's signature colour, will receive a free glass of the Italian apertif.

The promotion forms part of what the venue has coined its ‘Orange Amnesty’ offering.

Apart from Aperol Spritz-based beverages, the bar offers a range of other cocktails, English summer cups and beer and wine, which are placed in wheelbarrows located around the venue.  

The space includes a market stall that serves snack food including quiches, sausage rolls and cakes, as well as a picnic-themed offering complete with homemade sandwiches, salads and cold meats.

The orange-themed outdoor space, which took up residency at the venue’s outdoor space in May, is also available to hire for 30 to 250 people.
