AOP reveals contenders for online publishing awards

LONDON - The Association of Online Publishers has published its awards shortlist for 2010, with BBC Worldwide, Channel4.com, Guardian News & Media and FT.com among those battling it it out for best digital ad sales team.

Contenders for best commercial partnership include Bauer Media for Aloud.com with See Tickets and Seatwave, Haymarket Business Media with Madgex, and News International, which was nominated both for Cisco Wisdom with Times Online, and Times Spelling Bee with Microsoft Office.

New launch nominees include the Guardian iPhone app and Guardian Open Platform from Guardian News & Media, along with 3am.co.uk and Mirrorfootball.co.uk from Trinity Mirror.

Best ad technology platform nominees included Adify Network Builder from Adify, Open AdStream 10 from 247 Real Media, REVV for publishers from the Rubicon Project and Vibrant In-Text Advertising from Vibrant Media.

The awards ceremony takes place on 10 June at the Roundhouse in London. The full shortlist is:
