Housetohome.co.uk launched at the end of May as a one-stop-shop for home design and decorating needs, helping visitors develop their homes ideas with a range of planning tools and advice.
In addition three content managers have been appointed, all reporting to Gadd. They are: Charlotte Duckworth from handbag.com; Jessamy Hawley, who joins from GadgetCandy.co.uk; and Ben Richards, formerly Ideal Home's web and features editor.
As senior manager at AOL's David Gadd was responsible for the editorial planning of its homepage. He joined AOL in 2001 as news editor, rising to senior editor. He has also worked at ITN as multimedia producer and BBC News Online as senior multimedia co-ordinator.
Nicole Story meanwhile will reporting to publishing director Yvonne Ramsden.
All appointments come into effect in early July.
