Those visiting Spinnermusic.co.uk will have access to exclusive live performances by breaking bands, as well as a regularly updated collection of entire CDs, including pre-releases.
Other features include a guide to top UK venues and weekly highlights on the best festivals across the UK and Europe.
The site, which is already live in the US, attracts more than 6.5 million worldwide unique visitors, according to comScore.
Spinner is the latest in a string of websites AOL has recently launched. In March, AOL's content division MediaGlow, which has now been rebranded AOL Media, launched its first classifieds website that allows consumers to search through millions of listings for every postcode in the UK, as well as a casual online gaming site Flytrapgames.com.
