Anne Robinson to test America's IQ

LONDON - Having tested the IQ of the Brits in 'Test The Nation' on the BBC, 'The Weakest Link' presenter Anne Robinson is in talks to test the mental power of the Americans.

The move follows news this week that Robinson's 'Weakest Link' quiz show did not make NBC's Fall line-up, although it might yet return to the US network's schedules later this year or early next.

More than 9m people watched Robinson alongside Philip Schofield on Saturday in 'Test the Nation', as viewers solved problems and answered a series of tough questions to establish their IQ.

Robinson's husband and manager, John Penrose, told BBC Online: "The good thing about 'The Weakest Link' being reduced is that it now frees her up for new things. And there is a possibility that she might test the nation's IQ in America. It is under discussion now."

He added: "The possibility of testing America's IQ would make an interesting evening."

News of a possible test of the America's IQ comes after Robinson blasted their general knowledge.
