Anna Kournikova features on first Shock Absorber site

LONDON - Sports underwear brand Shock Absorber is being promoted as a standalone brand on the internet for the first time, with a new site created by WARL evolution featuring tennis player Anna Kournikova.

Previously, Shock Absorber, maker of sports bras and other clothing, was sold under the umbrella Berlei brand. But owner Sara Lee Courtaulds has decided to focus on Shock Absorber's sporting heritage, backed by athletes including Kournikova and Jade Johnson, the British long jumper.

gives details of the different products available in the range, including sports bras, bottoms and tops, as well as telling users where they can buy the clothes, online and on the high street.

Neil Bedwell, account holder at WARL evolution, said: "The site had to reflect the energy and dynamism of the brand itself, with no-nonsense content aimed at today's active women. The photography and content is all about energy and performance, showing the entire range and offering multiple product search routes to enable our users to find the products for themselves."

WARL evolution is no stranger to creating websites dedicated to women's underwear -- last year, it devised the launch website for G-Strings by Gossard, another brand owned by Sara Lee Courtaulds.
