Andrex unveils new CGI puppy

Andrex is replacing its famous Labrador puppy brand mascot with a computer-generated canine.

TV ads depict the dog playing with friends, eating and sleeping in a ‘puppy’s world’ to show how ‘the little things’ make a difference to his life.

The Kimberly-Clark-owned toilet-tissue brand will roll out a £15m campaign, by JWT.

The first ad in the campaign breaks tomorrow (Thursday) during ITV1’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

JWT devised the original Andrex mascot in 1972, which will continue to appear on packaging.
