Ampersand Events restructures following sales success

Ampersand Events has promoted Natalie Mainwaring to events creative director in light of a 150% rise in sales in the last 12 months.

Mainwairing, previously head of sales and operations, will be the creative force behind the Ampersand Events brand. Peter Martin, operations manager at Chester Boyd, will assume responsibility for the operational management of Ampersand Events. 

Ampersand said it credits its sales growth to a series of contract wins during the last year, which include the London Transport Museum, Natural History Museum, Science Museum, The Museum of London, Wakehurst Place, and the Cutty Sark.

The company was also added to Middle Temple and Westminster Abbey’s lists of preferred suppliers last month.

Mainwaring said: "This is great honour and an exciting challenge which plays to my creativity and love for great events. The last two years have been more successful than we could have imagined and now we are taking the opportunity to make sure the next two are just as exciting.

"Ampersand Events prides itself on creating unique and bespoke events and I look forward to focusing my full energy on continuously pushing things to new heights."
