
Amazon's Kindle e-book reader allows users to read a select number of blogs through the device by signing up for feeds through the online Kindle Store, typically charging about $2 each.
Yesterday Amazon announced it is expanding the service to include more blogs, rather, , and will split the subscription fee with bloggers, keeping 70% and paying out the remaining 30%.
There are no upfront costs for bloggers, they simply have to inform Amazon where to send the cheque.
Amazon said it decides how much to charge per subscription, deemed on what is "a fair value for consumers".
