Alterian expands operations in Europe with two new partners

LONDON – Alterian has signed two new European partners, in Germany and Denmark, as it continues its expansion into the region.

This brings the total number of partners in mainland Europe to 11, resulting in almost 30 end-user installations including Vodafone, Kellogg Espana, Goteburgs Posten and Telia.

MDS Nordic in Denmark and Loyalty Works in Germany are now using the Alterian Marketing Suite to enhance their service offerings for two new clients.

Swedish financial company Premie Invest and one of Germany's major retailers are now improving the way they analyse and exploit customer data to drive marketing strategy.

Existing Alterian partners in mainland Europe include Marknads Analys in Sweden, Experian Netherlands and Iberica in Spain and Portugal.

David Eldridge, CEO of Alterian, said: "Our success reflects the increasing demand for visualisation-led database marketing among European marketers and the growing need for not only customer insight, but also the ability to act effectively on this analysis."

He added: "We continue to widen our coverage in mainland Europe by expanding the geographic remit of existing UK or North American partners, in addition to building new relationships with major local organisations -- all supported by increased investment in our partner development team, which allows rapid deployment of our technology at partner client sites."

Alterian's European coverage also continues to grow in other regions with 12 new partnership agreements and more than 60 new end-user signings last financial year in North America and the UK.

Global revenue increased almost 40% year-on-year -- North American revenue alone rose 65% -- while R&D spend rose by 20%.
