AirMiles set to launch two-for-one flight promotion

LONDON - AirMiles, the UK loyalty scheme, has unveiled a two-for-one offer on flights, and the company has pledged £1 from every sale to Comic Relief.

The promotion runs from Monday February 26 through to Monday March 12, and AirMiles is hoping its 8m members will take advantage of the offer.

It is available on all British Airways destinations around the world and is valid until December 17 2007; members can use their AirMiles to pay the total price, or use part AirMiles part cash.

Sarah Wood, marketing director at AirMiles, said: "We're always looking for ways to offer our customers unrivalled deals that meet their travel needs and give them genuinely great value.

"This offer does just that and means AirMiles earned on everyday spending go further than ever before. We expect this deal to be hugely popular so if you're one of our 8m members, get in quick so you don't miss out!"

AirMiles can be collected at Tesco, Shell, House of Fraser, Scottish & Southern Energy, Interflora and the online websites for Currys, CD Wow, John Lewis and Carphone Warehouse.
