The car manufacturer has issued an RFI to a number of agencies as it looks to ramp up its online marketing activity, as well as its customer relationship management.
Agencies have until the beginning of June to submit their proposals, with pitches taking place later that month.
The successful agency will initially hold a two-year relationship with the French company, and will be responsible for developing the brand’s UK digital strategy, as well as creating digital ads and email campaigns.
It will also be charged with adapting and developing Renault’s global digital campaigns for the UK market, which are currently created by the brand’s global digital incumbent Digitas.
Social media activity and website development is not included in the review.
Meanwhile, Renault is also looking for a separate agency to support its CRM programme. The brief includes the development of an eCRM initiative.
Earlier this year, Renault revived its "Va Va Voom" strapline in a racy TV ad created by Publicis London.
