Event editor Jeremy King was a judge on the panel that also put through entries by Regent Exhibitions, i2i Events Group and Fresh Montgomery.
AEO chief executive Karim Halwagi said this year’s submissions confirmed the incredible energy, enthusiasm, creativity and professional drive organisers, venues and suppliers have shown in the past 12 months.
"With over 25% more submissions than last year, coupled with such high quality entries highlighted by the scores, it has been a huge task for our esteemed panel of judges to select this year’s finalists. I would like to extend my most sincere gratitude to our judges for their invaluable contribution to the process," he said.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Artillery Gardens at the HAC on Friday 6 July.
Event will sponsor the Best Live Event category.
The winners of the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry award sponsored by Reed Exhibitions and the Excellence Award sponsored by FaceTime are selected by the AEO board and announced at the ceremony.
