Schulz replaces Russell Buckley, who has been promoted to vice-president of Global Alliances.
The move follows news of the company's plans to expand its global footprint after securing $15.7m in funding last month.
Schulz will be responsible for the company's strategy and operations across Europe, with a special focus overseeing sales in the UK.
Previously, he has held senior business development positions at Yahoo Search Marketing and Alpha Advisory.
In his new role as AdMob's vice-president of Global Alliances, Buckley will be responsible for working with strategic partners worldwide.
Omar Hamoui, founder and chief executive of Admob, said: "The UK is one of our key markets and we are now seeing ad requests across Europe rising exponentially."
