It can provide Quick Response (QR) codes to be used on posters, manage the connection to mobile-enabled content and create branded content if needed, so that people can download content to their smartphone.
Through a partnership with communications provider Near Field Solutions, Admedia can offer wireless technology Near Field Communications (NFC) to advertisers wanting to get content to people with NFC-enabled phones.
Admedia manages washroom advertising at 900 pubs and bars.
Phil Daniel, head of national sales, Admedia, said its posters on toilet doors were "perfectly positioned for mobile interactivity, thanks to longer dwell times".
Daniel said: "Capturing consumers when there is nothing else to look at, our panels offer total share of view, coupled with an audience who we know from our research, are big on-the-move mobile users.
"The benefits of using NFC or QR code technology is that brands can take advantage of an additional, trackable direct response channel, extending the campaign's effect and linking offline activity with online."
