Kicking-off six months of activity, Adidas X Pop Brixton launches today (7 August) at the community site in south London, and will run until 12 August.

The interactive installation will see "high-energy footballing challenges" for the local community to take part in, including an on-site tournament, which will be open to anyone over the age of 16.

Participants will have the chance to test out the ACE15 and X15 boots on the pitch, while the winners of the BaseBrixton 2v2 tournament will go through to the Be The Difference World Final in France, to be played at the end of August.

This activity is the first of three planned ‘events’ by Adidas, and coincides with the beginning of the new Premier League season tomorrow (8 August).

The Pop Brixton project, located on Brixton Station Road, was commissioned by Lambeth Council and opened in May this year.
