
The latest financial figures also show turnover of £14.5m for the period, compared to £13m in the previous year.
ACC Liverpool chief executive Bob Prattey said: "To experience an increase in turnover in the current climate is extremely encouraging, not only for ACC Liverpool but for the entire city region which benefits from our visitors and the events which we stage to the tune of £100m each year."
The venue, which includes the BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, also revealed that it received 655,032 visitors in 2010/2011.
The venue has also hired Nicky Hunter as its first in-house PR and communications manager since opening in 2008.
Hunter joins from PR agency Paver Smith where she was a senior account manager. Her role will include developing ACC’s profile for its planned 8,100sqm exhibition centre due for completion in 2014.
