
EMI Music will produce audio for advertisers to be used in campaigns on Absolute Radio. The two parties will share revenue from licensing the music compositions for activity across other media, including other radio stations, digital platforms, TV and films.
Absolute Radio said its relationship with EMI Music would give advertisers a marketing platform with a stronger audio identity.
EMI Music artists will be able to use the partnership with Absolute Radio to generate revenue for themselves.
Absolute Radio celebrated its first birthday this weekend by closing Regent Street for a special concert by British band Madness.
Other scheduled events include broadcasts of gigs from Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Paul Weller and Lily Allen and an exclusive gig with Florence + the Machine at the top of Centre Point.
