Abacus boosts B2B Alliance with Blue Sheep link

LONDON - Abacus is to enhance its B2B Alliance data cooperative via a partnership with Blue Sheep allowing members to take advantage of The UK Business Universe Database.

The move will add value for members of Abacus's transactional B2B data pool by giving them access to Blue Sheep's database and data services such analytics and enhancement.

The UK Business Universe Database holds detailed information on 3.7m workplaces throughout the UK.

Matthew Pepper, B2B client services director at Abacus, said Blue Sheep would help Abacus to deliver additional information to its customers.

"The partnership will also help us to develop the capability of our acquisition and retention modelling services to add further value to the membership," he said.

Iain Lovatt, joint managing director of Blue Sheep, said: "Our experience in the business-to- business market will allow us to provide a fast turnaround of information with valuable data enhancements.
