BBC Worldwide’s annual programme export showcase generates around £50m of programme export revenue every year and has in the past been host to stars such as Sir David Attenborough, Imelda Staunton and Bill Nighy.

The 2012 edition of the event will take place over four days at ACC Liverpool, bringing a much-needed events boost to the City following .

BBC Worldwide will create a unique event environment, which will give delegates individual digitised viewing booths enabling them to view over 1000 hours of new content. The day and night schedules will also contain with producer pitches, co -production forums, screenings and launch parties.

The move to ACC Liverpool follows a detailed bidding process, initiated in response to pressure in recent years for BBC Showcase to grow in size.
