Zed wins Woodland Trust account

LONDON - Zed Media has won the digital account for The Woodland Trust following a competitive four-way pitch.

he Woodland Trust is the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity. With more than 300,000 members and supporters, it has more than 1,000 sites in its care and has planted in excess of six million trees.

The account is thought to be worth around £250,000.

Alan Kennedy, director of communications and engagement at The Woodland Trust, said: "We have ambitious plans for the future, such as the creation of Heartwood Forest, the largest new native forest in England.

"We need to ensure we are using the latest, most effective fundraising techniques. Zed Media impressed us immensely with its digital heritage and we are confident it is the right media agency to work with in 2009."
