Zed, which is owned by ZenithOptimedia, has held the business since 2004, when it won the account after a consolidation of Zurich's global marketing activities into Publicis agencies. The company spends £8 million on UK media.

Key markets for Zurich, which has rebranded services such as Eagle Star with the Zurich name, include the UK, Germany, the US, Switzerland, Spain and Italy.
